Kent Station Through Platforms Official Opening

Our Kent Station Through Platforms project for Iarnrod Eireann was officially opened on 14th April 2025 by An Taoiseach Micheal Martin and the Minister for Transport, Darragh O'Brien.The project is the first of the Cork Area Commuter Rail schemes to be delivered, and significantly improves interconnectivity for commuters with passengers now able to travcel directly from Midelton to Mallow without having to change at Kent. The scheme is central in the overall Cork Area Commuter Rail scheme which will see enhanced frequency and the delivery of 8 new stations on the existing commuter lines.
