Key Features

The proposed Scope of Works consists of the design, construction, mechanical and electrical installation, testing and commissioning of the following elements:

 *4,000m3 capacity drinking water storage reservoir in the townland of Giantsgrave north-west of Clonmel;
 *Control House on the reservoir Site;
 *Associated site works including landscaping, security fencing and surface water drainage system;
 *Approximately 1.6 km of 200mm diameter ductile iron rising main from Rathduff Lower to the proposed reservoir;
 *Approximately 0.28 km of 300mm diameter treated water rising main to connect to rising main to be laid by others in the future;
 *Approximately 0.3km of 300mm diameter ductile iron which transitions to approximately 1.3 km of 200mm diameter ductile iron distribution main from Rathduff Lower to the proposed reservoir;
 *0.35 km of scour/overflow main from the proposed reservoir along the L 3276;
 *Booster station at Rathronan;
 *Ancillary Works associated with the developments.
