Kells Road Update

The works include the removal of the existing roundabout, installation of services, construction of offroad
cycleway and footpaths, new road layout, road surfacing works and installation of new signalised
junction.
We wish to inform you that these works are expected commence on the 17th February 2025 and shall
be completed in phases as summarized below and presented in the plan overleaf;
• 5.1 Removal of Roundabout and Island and surfacing (Nighttime Works 8pm to 6am)
• 5.1 Road Crossings (Nighttime Works 8pm to 6am)
• 5.2a Northwest Footpath/Cycle Lane Works
• 5.2b Northeast Footpath/Cycle Lane Works
• 5.3 & 5.4 Southeast Footpath/Cycle Lane Works
• 5.5 Southwest Footpath/Cycle Lane Works
The initial phase 5.1 will be carried out at night between the 8pm-6am from the 17th February – 28th
February 2025. The remaining phases are expected to be completed during normal daytime working
hours.
Traffic management will be in place until mid-July 2025.
